Shaded by palmettos, pines, and oaks, with a picturesque view over a lagoon of the 10th fairway of the Ocean Course, this single story 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa in the gated community of Sea Pines Plantation is only a 5 minute walk from the rolling waves of the Atlantic. Spacious and open, the living room has cathedral ceilings with fan, comfortable furniture including a sleeper sofa, a TV with DVD player, and wet bar. Sliding glass doors lead to the screened-in porch providing a lovely place to sit and watch the golfers make their way down the fairway. Adjacent is the dining area and well-equipped eat-in kitchen. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed along with TV and private bathroom. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, and use of the hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Laundry facilities and free wireless internet access are provided. Located close to the Sea Pines Plantation Center, which has a variety of shops and restaurants, villa guests are invited to use the South Beach pool*, as well as the Harbour Town pool, located in the heart of Harbour Town. Golfers can make a tee time for the Ocean Course, or try their skills on one of two other courses within Sea Pines, Heron, and Harbour Town Golf Links. Tennis players have choices as well, such as South Beach Racquet Club, and Sea Pines Racquet Club, both with clay and hard courts plus clinics and instructions. Bikes are a great way to get around and easy to rent. Follow the many designated paths beneath lovely live oaks draped with spanish moss, or explore the beauty of the Low Country by walking through Sea Pines Preserve. For a different perspective, trail rides are available from Lawton Stables, and children will enjoy the petting farm. Both South Beach and Harbour Town have marinas with boat rentals from motor and sail to kayaks, jet skis, fishing charters, or take a peaceful sunset cruise on Calibogue Sound. NO Pets Allowed * South Beach pool use is available March through October. |
