Cobia is one of the most exciting fish to catch in the springtime. Other popular catches include Grouper, Amberjack, Barracuda, Black Sea Bass, Black Drum, Blue Runner, Bluefish, White Grunt, King Mackerel, Marlin, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Spottail Pinfish, Red Fish, Red Porgy, Red Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Spadefish, Tarpoon, Triggerfish, Tuna, and Wahoo. You could even catch a shark! The waters surrounding Hilton Head Island contain dozens of species of shark - but don't worry, you won't run into any Great Whites.
