While most of the Hilton Head Island accommodations come in the forms of vacation rentals, timeshares, and resorts, there are also a handful of hotels and motels for interested vacationers. The locally owned and operated Main Street Inn is a prime example of South Carolina southern comfort in a luxury resort atmosphere. Other inns, including the Red Roof Inn, the Days Inn, and the Comfort Inn, are lightly scattered around the island in between the larger complexes of Marriott and Hilton.
